Hire A Young Person
From first-hand experience we know that many young people are eager to earn money, often essential to their family well being. We’ll provide support and coaching, if you hire a young person, even for a few hours after school.
Donate Materials
Families we serve can benefit from clothing, computers, food or furniture… Our center can also benefit from books or other educational materials.
Donate a Vehicle
Donate your auto and show support for Diversified Community Services! Interested in donating your vehicle to an orgaization you believe in? It's easy to make a contribution that supports DCS.
Here's how it works:
Just call Toll-Free 1-877-537-5277 or email at your convenience to speak to a DCS Vehicle Donations Representative. Our Representative will schedule a pickup that's convenient for you, and provide you with confirmation of your donation.
If the gross proceeds from the sale of your donated vehicle are $500 or more and if you provide your social security number to our Representative at the time of your donation you will also receive an IRS tax form 1098C stating the sale price of the vehicle. This amount is what you actually claim on the itemized tax return.

According to the tax law effective January 1, 2005, if the claimed value of the donated vehicle exceeds $500, the taxpayer is limited to the gross proceeds from the sale.

Financial contributions are tax deductible. As a community impact partner of the United Way, you can use our donor choice: 37, or contribute directly.
Diversified Community Services has joined a donation program called GoodSearch.
GoodSearch is tied into many retail shops that make donations to registered nonprofits, and DCS is one of them. So every time you make an on-line purchase from one of these stores such as Kohl's, Sears, or Staples, the store makes a donation.
It's very easy to use. Go to www.goodsearch.com to see a list of all of the partnering retailers. Please make sure to choose Diversified Community Services as your nonprofit of choice.
